Cockroaches

Cockroach Control

Roaches are common pests in homes, restaurants, hospitals, warehouses, offices, and any structure that has food preparation or storage areas. They contaminate food and eating utensils, and destroy fabric / paper products. We offer chemical and non-chemical methods for combating cockroaches.

Rats and mice

Rat & Mouse Control

Mice and rats are some of the most bothersome and economically important pests in Cyprus. They eat and contaminate food, damage structures and property, and transmit parasites and diseases to other animals and humans. Rodents thrive under a wide variety of climates and conditions; they are often found in and around homes and other buildings, farms, gardens, and open fields. We offer chemical and non-chemical methods for combating rodents.

Woodworm

Termite & Woodworm Control

Perhaps the most economically dangerous pests in Cyprus, termites and woodworm can tear your house down if not treated by a professional. We offer several services for both termite and woodworm treatment and specialized crews that only deal with termite and woodworm issues. See our dedicated site
www.cyprus-termites.com
for more information. We offer chemical methods for combating termites and non-chemical methods for woodworm.

fly

Fly & Mosquito Control

House flies serve as carriers of diseases as they feed on animal waste, garbage, and human foods. House flies are known to carry bacteria and viruses that cause conditions such as diarrhea, cholera, food poisoning, yaws, dysentery, and eye infections. Mosquitos feed on human blood and can transmit diseases such as Malaria and West Nile Fever, which is becoming common in Cyprus. We offer chemical and non-chemical methods for combating flies.

Ant

Ant Control

Ants are among the most prevalent pests in households. They are also found in restaurants, hospitals, offices, warehouses, and other buildings where they can find food and water. Once ants have established a colony inside or near a building, they may be difficult to control. Long trails of thousands of ants may lead from nests to food sources. Ants can bite with their pincerlike jaws. We offer chemical methods for combating ants: plastic bait stations, insecticide gel and wet spray.

Pigeon

Pigeon Repelling

The feral pigeon lives in the urban environment, and because of their year-round food supply of human refuse (such as discarded food wrappers), pigeons will breed continuously, laying eggs up to six times a year. Their nests and droppings will quickly make a mess of the area. We sell and install non-harmful spikes, gels and nets to deter pigeons from landing on buildings and water tanks. We offer non-chemical methods for combating pigeons: spikes, nets and non-toxic gels.

Bedbug

Bedbug Control

Bed bugs are transported with luggage, clothing and other articles, usually when someone has traveled to an infested hotel. Some people have an adverse skin reaction to the bite of bed bugs. The bed bug injects an anti-coagulant chemical into the bloodstream of it’s host which prevents the blood from clotting. This allows the bed bug to suck out the blood until it is fully engorged. We offer chemical and non-chemical methods for combating bedbugs.

Wasp

Wasp & Hornet Control

Yellowjacket wasps are aggressive, and if disturbed, they can sting repeatedly and painfully. They build their nests in vegetation, especially if there is a nearby water source.

The Cyprus hornet have a very powerful sting. They have no fear of people, often invading our gardens and houses. If threatened, they will call for reinforcements and a swarm will attack. We can control them by smoking them and removing their nests from your property. We also sell eco-friendly wasp traps.

Snake

Snake Repelling

Snakes are frightened of people and will only attack in self defense. Most snakes in Cyprus are non-venomous, and only one of these venomous snakes; the blunt-nosed viper, can be fatal to humans. We use a liquid repellent to repel snakes from your premises. It is illegal to harm them as they are protected by the law.

Flour Beetle

Flour Beetle Control

Flour Beetles are pests of cereal silos. The flour beetle destroys wheat and other grains and is adapted to survive in very dry environments. It can withstand high amounts of radiation (even more than cockroaches). It’s a major pest in the agricultural industry, and highly resistant to pesticides. For this reason, we recommend our non-toxic  Cryonite treatment for them and other grain-eating pests. We also offer chemical methods.

Scorpion

Scorpion Control

The Cyprus scorpion (Mesobuthus cyprius Gantenbein) is yellow to yellow-brown in color. It’s common in gardens. Though it is rare, scorpions have been known to enter houses, and their sting hurts as much as a bee sting. We’ve seen instances where scorpions have crawled into shoes and under bedsheets, stinging people. We offer chemical methods for combating scorpions.

Silverfish

Silverfish Control

Silverfish feed on books and dead skin cells and thrive in dark, wet spaces. They are unable to survive in low humidity. Reducing moisture is critical for silverfish management. It is also important to remove their food sources. After inspection, moisture control, and elimination of their food sources, insecticide treatments are required for silverfish control and elimination. We offer chemical and non-chemical methods for combating silverfish.

Flea

Flea Control

Fleas have piercing-sucking mouths through which they draw blood from their hosts. Bites are usually found on the lower legs but can also occur on other parts of the body. Some people and pets suffer from flea bite allergic dermatitis, characterized by intense itching, hair loss, reddening of the skin, and secondary infection. A bite causes itching that persists for 5 days. We offer chemical methods for combating fleas.

Tick

Tick Control

Ticks are very common in the homes of dog owners. They bite humans and pets in order to draw blood, and can transmit diseases. There are steps we can take to minimize their presence in gardens by applying pesticides along the property perimeter. We also sell products for treating pets to prevent them from becoming infested by ticks and bringing them into your home. We offer chemical methods for combating ticks.

Spider

Spider Control

Spiders feed on insects that commonly invade your home, such as flies. However, if they have a steady supply of food available, they may become well established in your home or business, creating an infestation. We can apply pesticides to the interior areas of buildings to deal with spider infestations.

Moth

Pantry & Fabric Moth Control

Clothes moths can be very destructive pests of wool, furs, and other natural or blended fabrics. The moths lay their eggs on the fabrics. The hatched larvae then feed on and spin webbing on the clothes, creating holes.

Food moths can infest food stores at great expense. In food processing facilities, their webbing can cause major damage to machinery.  We offer chemical and non-chemical methods for combating moths.

Mite

Dust & Bird Mite Control

Mites are related to ticks and resemble insects, but they lack wings and eyes. They’re quite small, making them hard to identify. Many people don’t realize they’ve been exposed to mites until they notice what looks like small bites. They can cause allergic reactions in people. We offer chemical and non-chemical methods for combating mites.

Millipede Control

Millipede Control

Some millipede species give off an ill-smelling fluid through openings along the sides of the body. Underscoring the importance of millipede control, this fluid can be toxic to small animals and pets, and can cause small blisters on humans. We offer chemical methods for combating millipedes.
